Day 1:

Day 2:

Short rest and beginning of excursion in Old Town – ‘Icheri Sheher’. You will see the highlights of Icheri Sheher including the Palace of the Shirvans (the most striking example of the medieval palace structures in Azerbaijan, dating to the middle of 15th century); Maiden’s Tower (the ancient, eight storey fortress originally built as a fire beacon); visit Dzhuma Mosque, antiques and carpet shops. Have lunch. Proceed with sightseeing tour across the city. After the dinner, walking tour in the very center of Baku – in the Fountain Square – Nizami street.The square is a public gathering place, especially after business hours and during the weekend. It is an attractive tourist destination with many boutiques, restaurants, shops, hotels and passage. This is one of the most crowd and lively places in the city. The area is great for people watching, and evening will find many locals strolling about. Close to Old Town, the Fountain square is crossroad to everything walking distance in Baku. Different fountains adorn the square, which marks a real centre point of the city, and you will probably end up here at some point during your trip to Baku.You will be introduced with the interesting facts and you will have free time of accessing to shops and souvenir markets (1.5 hours), then return to the hotel.

Day 3: Gobustan Tour

After breakfast in the hotel at 9.00, our experienced driver and guide will take you to Atesgah (Fire Temple); it is the first main settlement of worshipper In Azerbaijan. Then we turn back to Yanardag where the flame burns fairly steadily.At 13:20 our guide will take you to Gobustan.The first point will be Mud Volcanoes (if the weather is suitable for a road) which is quite unique for having 350 of the planet’s estimated 700 mud volcanoes. Thereafter will visit Gobustan open-air museum littered with Neolithic rock drawings where 6000 inscriptions (petroglyphs) are kept. There you will have a chance to observe Roman inscription over the stone and Location of the shooting of “Agent 007”. On the way back to Baku a short stopover at Bibi Heybat Mosque, the tomb of Ukeyma Khanum (a descendant of the Prophet Muhammad), and today is the spiritual center for the Muslims of the region and one of the major monuments of Islamic architecture in Azerbaijan. Then we continue back to Baku for lunch.

Day 4: Night tour arund Baku – Time

Night tour through ancient and contemporary streets of Baku would give you an excellent opportunity to reveal the true nature of Baku. See a panorama of the city and enjoy a walk in the city boulevard. You will get a chance to see old parts of the city as well as modern buildings located nearby. Flame Towers and the city bay panorama will make your tour exquisite and memorable. After the funicular and seeing Martyrs Lane, walk around the boulevard to enjoy the fresh air. Afterward walking tour extends its boundaries beyond other parts of the city that present magnificent monuments and landmarks which are worth seeing. We will take you to the place where you will enjoy and also have a lunch in one of the most beautiful place.

Day 5: Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center

Heydar Aliyev Center is on the way to become an intellectual center of fast growing Baku city. If you don’t know how to start gleaning into Azerbaijani history, monuments, cuisine, culture and other important parts of the country, this center will be a nice start to learn a lot with its exhibition halls concentrated on several floors, such as “Pearls of Azerbaijan” and “Welcome to Azerbaijan”. This will be a unique opportunity to find out how Azerbaijani national songs sound, how the monuments inside the country are specific to their regions and what are the main dishes Azerbaijani people love to prepare. You will have a chance to get all this information with the help of our guides.

Day 5: Shaki – Lahic City  Tour  – 1 nights 2 days

Azerbaijan is a country with a rich history, beautiful nature and wonderful people. It surely needs more time to see all its sides and parts, but in a 1 night 2day tour to Sheki and Lahij, you will see thousand-year-old traditions, visit ancient sights, Christian churches, mosques, luxurious palaces and streets of old villages. You will feel this Caucasian country even in this relatively short time.In the morning, check-in to the hotel and start sightseeing tour around Sheki. Visit stunning Sheki Khans’ Palace, a medieval fortress, and local History Museum. Continue to local mosque, handicrafts workshop, madrasah, and bazaar. Enjoy the panoramic view of the town and head to Kish village located close by to Sheki. In Kish, visit the first Albanian church in the Caucasus, dating back to the 1st century AD.

Day 7: Half day Lahij, half day Qabala city tour

After breakfast in the hotel at 9.00, our experienced driver and guide will take you to the one of the old city -Lahic.Lahic is a village and municipality on the southern slopes of Greater Caucasus within the Ismailli Rayon of Azerbaijan. Population is approximately 860 people who speak the Tat language. Lahij is a notable place in Azerbaijan, with its authentic handicrafts traditions, particularly related to copper. The village’s carpet and rug crafts are also well known in Azerbaijan and the South Caucasus. Lahij has an old sewage system (some experts claim that it was built 1000 – 1500 years ago). Due to frequent earthquakes local people have developed sophisticated and authentic construction techniques.

Day 8: Half day Qabala, half day Ismayilli tour

Two-thousand-year-old Gabala – the most ancient city of Azerbaijan, was for 600 years the capital of ancient Caucasian Albania mentioned in the works of antique historians of the 1st century. Later in the Arabian sources it was mentioned as Khazar. At first, Gabala was a part of Shirvanshahs state and later Sheki Khanate. The city was repeatedly exposed to devastating invasions. But, despite this Gabala has preserved material evidence of its civilized past. The ruins of ancient Gabala are 15 km from the present-day city. The excavation finds from the ancient settlement can be seen in the city museum. Gabala vicinities have numerous historical and architectural monuments..Ismailly city has a rich nature. The forests are composed of oak, hornbeam, beech-tree, alder-tree, birch-tree, poplar, pear, spoke and other trees. Such fauna as elk, mountain goat, chamois, deer, roe deer, bear, boar, lynx, fox, wolf, squirrel, coon, pheasant, partridge, eagle, falcon, tetra and others are found in the forests. 19:00 on our way to Baku.
